Hart dropped to her knees, gripping her head as if someone had just bricked her. Torque knelt beside her & put his arms around his sisters shaking shoudlers. No words were needed & none would have mattered. He felt the pain ring through his head as his sister had, but not to the same extent. The knowledge of the pain was enough, the feeling didn't matter. Outside the castle a war raged on. Still the same battles, still the same fight. The Laosiats had waged an invasion against their people & alone in the safe room sat Hart & Torque, listening to their family, & friends, die around them.

Hart turned her head, slightly, to Torque. After a brief moment, he nodded & raised his hand. A formula scrawled itself in the empty space in front of them, then extended itself around them. They would not sit here in agony. It was their war as well & as the formula began to glow, they stood. Now it was time for the war to end.
