His eyes were fixated on this goal & no wind or rain could back him down. The deep, darkness below his feet swirled with shadow, taunting him down into the black abyss. On he climbed, tearing the flesh from his metallic skeleton, breaking into the mountain side to lift him further up. He could hear the shrieking of the Dannsplade below him & their mocking whispers cackled in his ears. It seemed to him that he had been climbing his whole life; there was no end, there had been no beginning. His creation was on the mountain, & for it.
